Android One Returns !

A couple of years back, Google with some companies like Micromax, Karbonn and Lava released a series of smartphones which were named Android one. It was the first article on my blog ;). I liked the device as the specifications justified the price tag and it came with a promise of regular updates from Google. Although the phones did not become popular but they managed to change the smartphone market. And now Google and Xiaomi have joined hands to relaunch the Android one brand with a price tag of around 15k. Let's see if the phone is worth the hype!

On paper, the specifications look great and with the promise of regular updates from Google, you can stay assured of the security and snappiness of the device.
Xiaomi has stepped into the dual camera game and they are claiming flagship quality photos.
Initial impressions of the camera are not like they claim but maybe they will try to improve it in the next software update. There is no complaint regarding the performance of the device as it comes with the Snapdragon 625 coupled with 4 gigs of ram which makes the phone feel snappy and handles multiple apps without any problem. 
The build quality of the phone is also very good and it comes with gorilla glass 3 so it can easily withstand minor scratches.
On an average usage, the battery can last for more than a day.
You will also get unlimited storage on Google photos.
Overall it a good device with all the necessary features than one wants from a device that costs 15k.
