Asus Zenfone 2 ZE551ml full review!

Asus came up with an amazing phone Asus
Zenphone 5 which was an amazing phone at its price point .
Another great phone is launched in sub 20k price bracket, Asus Zenfone 2 Ze551ml. Now here comes the confusing part. There are lots of zenfone 2 lying around in the market , which one I talking about ? Here I am talking about the zefone 2 with whooping 4 GB ram and an Intel atom 2.3 ghz processor and about its 2 gb ram and 1.8. GHz processor  variant as the difference only lies in the ram and processor and rest everything else is same . There are many other variants in the zenfone 2 segment and they all sum up to 16 !!

So, before starting the detailed review I would like to say that this a great phone for gaming and multitasking( of course) ,with minimal heating issues on extended gaming at a great price and that too it comes from a reputed international brand and gives a challenge to the expensive flagship smartphones in terms of its performance.

1. Display

In both the variants 2 GB ram and 4gb ram comes with a 5.5 full HD ips display with 403ppi pixel density. The screen on the two devices are good and have nice viewing angles. The colours are vivid and you a dedicated app on the device to adjust various aspects of the screen according to your requirements.

2. Design

Although this is a big device  it is not uneasy to hold . While there are no physicals buttons on the sides , the volume button is situated on the back of the device and the power button ate the top.
The capacitive touch navigation buttons are on the bottom which are not back lit. The phone is pretty hard to use with one hand and the placement of power button is pretty awkward. But Asus has provided the substitute for the power button using gesture , tap to wake and tap to sleep. Over all the device looks pretty good with little flaws.

3. Performance

Now this is where it outshines very other phone in this price range both the variants 2gbram with 1.8 GHz processor and 4 GB 2.3 GHz processor performs outstandingly in benchmark test as well as in real world usage. The gaming experience is lag free and the the multitasking experience is also good in both the variants. In the 4gb ram variant u can even 3 big highly resource demanding games and the phone still can store multiple apps in the background running . And even the 2 GB ram variant is really good in its category. Overall this area is where the Asus zenfone 2 is the boss.

4. Camera

Now talking about the camera . Both the variants have 13 mp main and 5 mp selfie camera . Now many of the review says that the camera us just okay type but i would like to say that the camera can take respectable picture in every situation and it performs brilliantly in low light condition . Even the front camera does the job every time you want to click some selfies .

At last the phone has 3000 mah battery which is sealed and can last you for a day or so , which is not great but with power saving mode and mid usage it can last for some more time .
It is a dual sin phone where one slot has 4g support and the other has only 2g . It also support memory card till 64 GB which is good.
The sound quality is mediocre and crisp and not too great . It has all the necessary sensors which a phone at this price point should have .

Conclusion:- At last I would just like to say that at this price point it's a value for money in terms of performance and other aspects . Yes it has flaws but hey nothing is flawless . And even Asus provides regular updates for the phone which is great .  If you like it you can get it on flipkart or snapdeal or amazon or from where ever you like .
Cheers.
